If the LabelMark6 software is no longer showing up as a menu option in Excel:
- Open Excel and select File and then Options.
- In the menu that appears, select Add-Ins.
- In this menu, towards the bottom, there will be a section with a drop-down box. Select the COM Add-Ins option in the drop-down and select GO.
- In the new window that appears, place a check mark in the box next to the LabelMark6 software. Select OK.
- The option will now appear back in Excel.
- Close Excel and re-open it to confirm that LabelMark6 is still in the menu options.
Often the cause of LabelMark6 crashing is due to the software attempting to print to a non-responsive printer. If this happens, follow the steps above and then, prior to printing, power-cycle the printer. If the power button is unresponsive you may need to physically unplug the printer and plug it back in.
