Hokies Account vs PID

Virginia Tech (not FBRI) offers two primary accounts: 

1. PID: This is your first and primary VT username and is used to access many services on campus, including your Outlook and Office 365 applications. 

• Change VT Username (PID) Passphrase 
  (for Canvas, Hokie SPA transcripts, Login, CAS, etc.)
  
  
• Reset VT Username (PID) Passphrase

2. HOKIES ACCOUNT: Your Hokies account, if one was enabled for you, or by you, is used to access the Virginia Tech on-line Exchange email, Office 365 applications, and to log into some computers on campus.  

• Change or Reset Hokies Password via Account Manager (Recommended)
