Adobe Products

To purchase Adobe software for use at FBRI, please start a conversation with the FBRI IT Team.

This conversation should include the name of the software desired (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc), the name of the individual for whom the software is being purchased and their Adobe ID, and the system on which the software will be installed (the VT Asset Tag number/hostname of the computer).

To use any Adobe products, you will need to have an Adobe ID. The process to create this is straight-forward:

• Go to adobe.com  and click on  "Sign in" in the upper right corner of the webpage.
• Then  click on "Create an account" on the pop-up window:
• enter your email address and click on "Continue" Do not select any other option on this window
• create your password for this account and follow the prompts
• when you sign in after this, select the "Virginia Tech - FBRI" profile

We prefer that you use your @vt.edu email address when creating your Adobe ID for the sake of consistency across the Institute. You will not be logging in with your Single Sign-on (Duo). The Adobe ID is a unique log-in and completely separate from VT and FBRI systems.
